- A simple commandline soundfile player for JACK. It uses libjack and libsndfile.

- EzDoc
- ROX app that helps you create simple documents. Takes wiki-style text files and outputs formatted documents in HTML, Postscript, PDF, or TXT. Wiki-parsing is done by an included and modified version of AsciiDoc by Stuart Rackham. Typesetting to Postscript, PDF and plain text is done by Basser Lout.

- A graphical frontend to mkisofs and cdrecord that lets you create and burn data CD's.

- SSH-Mount
- This is a small ROX app that lets you mount remote machines over ssh to your local filesystem. It uses sshfs-fuse by Miklos Szeredi. Uses the name of a directory as the hostname in the form [user@]hostname, like "foo@somewhere.org"

- RoxDAO
- A graphical frontend to cdrdao for the ROX Desktop that lets you compose and burn audio cd's in disc-at-once mode, supporting the nice features of cdrdao: nondestructive cutting, editable trackmarks, editable silence. It uses Mp3Ogg2Wav (see below) to convert .mp3 and .ogg files automatically.

- Mp3Ogg2Wav
- A small rox utility to convert .ogg and .mp3 files to .wav files. Provides progressbars and logwindow to monitor the progress.
