About me

All is sound...

I'm a composer of contemporary music, with influences from noise, minimal, drone and stochastic music.

My main passion is for the sound in itself, therefore I'm very interested in sound synthesis. I utilize homebuilt analogue hardware, feedback through various devices, Csound, and algorithmic composition with my graphical compositional environment AlgoScore. I also work with live improvisation in ensemble or solo.

I'm interested in music and sound as a way to transcendence and the revelation of the structure of reality and perception.

Even though I mainly work with electronic music, I've also written some pieces for acoustic instruments.

I'm playing in dkjl duo with Daniel Karlsson where I play mainly no-input feedback through mixing desk and effects, and in the Ce la vie quartet with Daniel Karlsson, Matilda Nordenström and Henrik Olsson, where I play inside piano and electronics.

I studied composition for Per Mårtensson and Henrik Strindberg at the Gotland School of Composition in Visby (2004-2006), and am now a student of electro-acoustic composition at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, Sweden.
